1.7 – Socio Economic and Institutional Framework

Socio Economic analysis identification processes of social and economic factors involved in a particular case. It is also an attempt to get a complete picture of (1) social and economic situation, (2) structural, cultural and historical relationships so that we can capture and understand the social realities in solving the problems.

Socio-Economic analysis becomes a crucial part in our framework to: help to identify and understand the problem thoroughly and find the root cause of the problem, explore the potentials (strengths-weaknesses-opportunities-challenges) existed in the community, and build predictions so that preventive actions can be taken.
