Module 3 – Understanding Local Flooding Issues and Flow Regime

In this module, we will share our knowledge on the flooding issues in Thaketa especially in Ward 5 that we gained through our project from field study and analysis. After that, we will introduce the SOBEK model that is widely used in urban flood management and how we used the model to have a better understanding on the flow regime in Ward 5.
