Following the successful completion of trainings and workshops under the WE Water Indonesia training programme, eight outstanding participants were chosen based on thorough evaluations conducted throughout the programme. Representing key agencies such as the Water Resources Agency (PUSDA), Forestry Agency, Disaster Agency, and Environmental Agency, these participants took part in a study visit to Vietnam from 21 to 25 October 2024. The visit was an extension of the training programme, providing a practical, hands-on learning experience beyond the classroom environment.
The delegation began their visit at the Green Economic Forum and Exhibition, where they explored innovative green projects and solutions that could inspire similar initiatives in their Province upon return. The delegation then travelled to Tra Vinh Province, hosted by Tra Vinh University, a leading institution in the Mekong Delta. The visit included a training session and a site tour of Con Chim Island, which highlighted practical water management techniques and adaptive measures for addressing water salinity and availability challenges in the region.

These dialogues centered on governance, experiences with international projects, sustainable irrigation for food production, and the integration of IoT technologies in water management.
