3.2 – Stakeholder Mapping and Analysis
Stakeholder mapping can be broken down into four steps:
(1) IDENTIFYING: listing relevant groups, organizations, and people
(2) ANALYZING: understanding stakeholder perspectives and interests
(3) MAPPING: visualizing relationships to objectives and other stakeholders
(4) PRIORITIZING: ranking stakeholder relevance and identifying issues The objective of stakeholder mapping is to get a visual representation of all the people who can influence the project and see how they are connected.
On Welang Project Master Plan, Kumu has been used to identify and map out stakeholders that are related to the river. Kumu is an online platform to organize complex data into relationship maps.
